Admissions Process
Before the interview…
· Return the Student Application with the application/registration fee (per student). This fee is non-refundable.
· Sign and send the Teacher Evaluation to the last school the applicant attended.
· Have your pastor or other church leader complete the Pastoral Evaluation.
· Secure a copy of the most recent report card and achievement test scores.
· For high school students please secure a copy of the transcript.
· Complete the KCS Medical Release form.
· Obtain the following completed forms from your family physician or local health department and send them to Keswick:
Certificate of Immunization (HRS 680)
Physical Form (HRS 3040)
Under state law, we cannot permit a child to begin classes until we have these documents.
· Secure a copy of the student’s birth certificate.
After Keswick receives all forms…
· Complete testing if necessary. The testing fee is due at the time of testing.
· Complete the interview. After the application has been processed and all the forms received, Keswick will contact you to schedule an interview. The purpose of the interview is summarized by the following questions:
1. Why are you making application for your child to attend Keswick Christian School?
2. What is your personal spiritual background and present church involvement?
3. On what basis do you believe God gives eternal life to a person?
4. How do you think Keswick can benefit your child(ren) and your family?
Acceptance
Acceptance of the applicant will be based on the family interview, testing results, grade reports, and the pastor/student evaluations. Upon acceptance, a letter is mailed to the applicant.
